YES! LEADS is a group of High School students who have pledged to be drug and alcohol free.  These students have also spent time being trained on the dangers of drugs and alcohol, as well as bullying and peer pressure.  Our students also serve as positive role models for younger students in their community.

We ask that you encourage parents to come out for this event that we hope will strengthen the safety of our school community.

Through the program and trainings our students have put together hands-on presentations for elementary students.  This year we're excited to be presenting to all classrooms in grades 2-6.  Our students have put a lot of time and thought into their presentations this year as they prepare to go outside of their comfort zones to deliver a message they feel is important.

As part of this program we also sponsor 2 community events each year.  Earlier this year we held our annual Community Movie Night.

For our second community event, we're excited to announce we'll be hosting an Internet Safety Night presented by the New York State Police, on March 20th.

Parents and Guardians of students in grades 4-12 will be receiving an invite in the mail to this event.

While the parents are informed about various online topics in the auditorium, our High School YES! LEADers will be on hand to entertain children in grades K-6 during Open Gym and Free Swim.
