A sampling of dioramas from Mrs. Kehoe's class
These projects represent some of the projects for a unit in Earth Science on soil conservation.  Students were to choose a method of soil conservation and describe how this method helps conserve soil.  They needed to say who practices the use of this method, what regions mainly use this type of soil conservation, the best times to use this type of soil conservation, why this method helps, and to describe this process in detail. The students then presented the projects to the class.  The projects could have been in the form of lecture, posters, dioramas, models, Powerpoint, etc.  They were told that they could use their imagination.  They really enjoyed presenting, as well as listening to each other present!
