Basketball

Baseball

4/15/24 - The Afton knights defeated Deposit/Hancock, the defending state champions, 3-2 on Monday night! Ryan Wright recorded 15 outs for the win and Brayden Baciuska had the save. Reeves and Wright both collected two hits. Carter burns and Matthew Carmen both drove in one run. With bases loaded bottom of seventh Cooper Warren ended the game with a force at third base.

4/23/24 - The Afton Knights beat the Delaware Academy Bulldogs (11-0)!

4/25/24 - The Afton Knights beat the Oxford Blackhawks (18-0)!

Bowling

Girls won 3-1. Gracie Bomboy led the girls with a game high of 161. The Afton/Harpursville girls are your 2023 Crimson knights Tip Off Tournament Champions! On Friday, January 5th, the Afton Bowling team faced off against UV and Norwich. Aidan Smith finished with a three game series with a 606! Jonah Barnett has his personal best with a 224 game.  Our bowlers are making great improvements.

Cross Country

Congratulations to our BGAH Girls Cross Country are your 2023 Class C Champions! The Boys placed 7th at the NYSPHSAA State Class C Championships in Verona on 11/11/23. The team was led by Ethne Degan's 9th place finish out of 125 runner

Winter Track

BGA Indoor Track had another great showing at the Winter Classic Invite in Cortland this past weekend. Girls set the school record in both the sprint and distance medley relays, and the team took podium finishes in 6 other events, including 1st and 2nd in boys triple jump.

Soccer ended their fantastic season against Seton Catholic on 10/24/23. Their final record is 13-2-1.

Track and Field

Wrestling

BGAH finished 5th out of 15 teams at the Cuneen-Doane Tournament in Walton. Placing first were Darren Florance and Elliott Briggs. Finishing second were Blake Prisco and Ryan Blackman. Finishing 6th was Silas Greenman.
