DOOR ACCESS PROJECT FAQS

The Afton Central School District has been working with Day Automation on a security project involving the installation of wireless door locks throughout the main building and bus garage. The district utilized the Smart Schools Grant to fund the project, which resulted in no cost to the district. The project will enhance building security resulting in a more secure instructional environment for both students and staff.

The April Board of Education Meeting will address the final stages of the project.
