Our Afton FFA chapter is represented at the FFA Building at the Great New York State Fair! Come on out to see the Afton FFA Chapter Display! The Great New York State Fair runs from Wednesday, August 20 through Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2025. Our chapter is proud to showcase the work we do in our school and community. FFA, students engage in leadership development opportunities and agricultural education by serving in our Food Pantry and school garden. Our display at the New York State Fair also features student work from our Agricultural Education program by highlighting the hands-on skills our members gain in the classroom. We are so thankful for the incredible work of Ms. Cathleen Reeder, our Afton FFA coordinator to implement engaging leadership opportunities for our students.
This year marks the fourth consecutive year Afton FFA had a display at the New York State Fair. We are excited to continue this tradition of sharing our story. We are also proud to feature art pieces from Mr. Higby’s talented art students which illustrates their creativity alongside our agricultural story.
The display highlights how our FFA chapter is growing leaders, building communities, and strengthening agriculture every day.
