In honor of World Food Day—celebrated every year on October 16—Chobani hosts Let’s Eat Week, a week of companywide volunteering, partnership, and education focused on feeding children and families facing hunger. Now in its third year, Let’s Eat Week brings together employees and community partners to pack boxes filled with wholesome staples and simple, delicious recipes—providing lunches, dinners, and snacks for nearly 12,000 families (that’s almost 50,000 people!) facing food insecurity.
On October 23, 2025, Mrs. Reeder, four Afton FFA members, and BOE President Jim Parkinson joined the Chobani team from 9–11:30 a.m. to help pack boxes of food. Afton FFA brought back 30 boxes of shelf-stable food to share locally through the Afton FFA Food Pantry.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to join Chobani in their mission of spreading kindness, fighting hunger, and strengthening our communities.
