Pride Point System
Pride Points will be used to determine several things within our program for the 2026 season. It is a way for us to gauge commitment in a very fair way, regardless of talent. To be a successful program we must have a full commitment from all players who participate. Joining the football program is a privilege, not a right or guarantee; and you will have to earn your spot. The competition for playing time will be even higher in 2026. Below is our point system in detail.
April 16th is the first day you can accumulate points
Awards:
Jersey Number
Special Helmet Sticker
Chance at one of the new Helmets
Chance at other new equipment
Top 5 get VIP First-In-Line Pass for all team dinners
**More awards may be announced at a later time
Spring Points
● 15 points - Starting & Finishing a Spring Sport
● 2 points - Completing team sanctioned weightlifting
● 1 point - Weightlifting on your own (must provide proof of workout)
● 5 points - For having your physical turned in before the last day of school
● 10 points - For attending any Program Meeting
● 5 points - For providing contact information to coaches
Summer Points (begins June 1st)
● 3 points - Completing team sanctioned weightlifting
● 3 points - For participating in On-Field Workouts
● 1 point - Weightlifting on your own (must provide proof of workout)
● 5 points - for each 7 on 7/Lineman Challenge
● 5 points - for each day of Team Camp attended
● 5 points - for attending a football camp on your own (must tell coach about it prior to the camp and provide proof of attendance)
● 10 points - For attending any Program Meeting
Grades
● 5 points - For every grade 90+ in the 4th quarter (Must provide coach with a copy or picture of your report card)
● 3 points - For every grade 80-89 in the 4th quarter (Must provide coach with a copy or picture of your report card)
Experience:
● 4 points - Senior
● 3 points - Junior
● 2 points - Sophomore
● 1 point - Freshman
● 15 points - 4th year Varsity Player
● 10 points - 3rd year Varsity Player
● 5 points - 2nd year Varsity Player
Booster Club
● 10 points - Parent/Guardian attending Booster Club meetings
● ??? points - Fundraising point values will be announced prior to each event.
Additional ways to earn points may be added but will be announced prior to the event. *There will be no exceptions made for lifting. You are either present or you are not. If you are injured you will get points for attending lifting sessions to support your teammates and for completing rehab.
