Please find the Summer Football Schedule attached — it begins Monday, June 29th.
• Weightlifting and on-field practice: Open to all athletes who will be playing Varsity, JV, or Modified this fall.
• Harpursville Camp (July 20–23): Open to all Varsity, JV, and Modified athletes. This camp is run through Harpursville Summer Enrichment, so times were pre-set.
• Thud Camp (Aug 3–5): Open to Varsity and JV athletes. Chenango Forks, Windsor, and possibly a fourth team will attend. This camp is full contact; equipment will be issued beforehand (dates to be sent later) for athletes who are participating in this camp. The camp is being held at Harpursville so that the Varsity teams can be on the turf and the JV teams can be on the grass field near the turf.
• Player/Parent Meeting for Varsity/JV: August 13 at 6:15 PM at BG — our season kickoff meeting with details for the upcoming season.
• Varsity/JV Season Start: Monday, August 17.
Attached are the map of field locations and the 7 v 7 rules. Please make sure you complete the Player Waiver before Saturday.
Bus departure times:
Pick up at BG Football Field: 7:45 AM
Pick up at Harpursville (Sports Entrance): 8:10 AM
Important start times:
Lineman Challenge begins at 9:30 AM
7 v 7 pool play begins at 9:30 AM
7 v 7 Schedule Pool Play (each team plays 3 games to determine seeding; all teams advance to single elimination)
Single Elimination Tournament
Round 1 — 11:40 AM
Quarterfinals — 12:20 PM
Semifinals — 1:00 PM
Finals — 1:40 PM

Additional reminders:
Jerseys will be provided and are sleeveless; consider a shirt to wear underneath depending on weather.
Everyone must bring cleats.
Lineman Challenge participants should bring both cleats and sneakers.
Please wear shorts in one of these colors: navy blue, red, white, black, or gray.
