Introducing the Afton Central School District Class of 2026!
On Friday, June 26, we celebrated the Class of 2026 at our 148th annual commencement ceremony in the Margery Secrest Memorial Auditorium. Dozens of our students' family members and friends gathered as 29 seniors walked across the stage to receive their diplomas.
Superintendent Annette Hammond welcomed everyone to the ceremony, followed by the salutatorian address by Jordan Phillips and the valedictorian address by Emilie Hopkins.
Principal Joel Carle gave the principal's address and the medal presentation before Mrs. Hammond joined him to present the senior awards.
Mrs. Hammond and Mr. Carle then called each graduate to the stage to receive their diploma.
