On Tuesday, we were thrilled to welcome back all of our teachers and staff after their well-deserved summer break, kicking off the new academic year with our Superintendent’s Conference Day!
Superintendent Annette Hammond and Board of Education President Nicki Andrews started the day by welcoming everyone back as they gathered in the Elementary Cafeteria for breakfast – one of the rare occasions when all of our district employees are together in the same room.

With just one day remaining until our students return to school on Thursday, rest assured that our teachers are hard at work preparing for an amazing year ahead!
We also honored staff members who reached years-of-service milestones at Afton Central School District this year.
