After school activities at Harpursville are cancelled; there is no track practice tonight.
Seventh grade students have been exploring the science of sound in their music class.
Here they are experiencing how sound is created and carried through vibrations. The students used common tin cans, rubber bands, cardboard and water to create different pitches.
Afton's FFA students were having fun playing the Jenga game made by Agriculture and Technology students.

On March 28, 2023, there is a Town Hall meeting in response to the Transportation Survey. The time will be from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the board of education room. Please use door #1 on the Sand St. side of the school building for this meeting.

The scholar athlete teams for the winter are the following: Boys and Girls Indoor Track, Wrestling, Girls Bowling, and Boys Basketball! Congratulations to all of these students on their accomplishments this season!

Important Changes to School Calendar:
April 10 and May 26, 2023 will be used as school recess days if no more than one additional emergency closing day is used prior to April 1, 2023. This is due to unused emergency closing days that are built into the instructional calendar.
Students will not have school on Monday, April 10 and Friday, May 26 as long as no more than one emergency closing (snow) day is used prior to April 1, 2023.
The district will keep you informed of any changes to the above, should we use more than one snow day prior to April 1.

Thank you to our Crimson Knight parents and athletes who attended the Spring Sports Meeting. All of the coaches and staff appreciate the support. If you were unable to attend, there is one more chance on Monday, March 13, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. to make up for the missed information. Please make sure you attend. Otherwise, the athlete will not be able to participate until the meeting has been completed. We look forward to seeing you then.

Hello, Afton Community! We wanted to remind everyone that we will host our Spring Sports Night tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium. This meeting is for all parents and guardians of our modified, JV, and varsity athletes. We will provide valuable information for track, baseball, and softball athletes. Those who attend will receive pizza, chips, drinks, and gifts. This event is required for student athletes and their parents/guardians. It is an excellent opportunity to get essential information and connect with coaches. We look forward to you joining us.
