Students had the chance to tour campus, explore different programs, see some of the facilities and learn more about the opportunities Cobleskill has to offer. It was a great experience for our students to get out of the classroom and see what their next steps after high school could look like.
Our Agriculture Education classes also give students the opportunity to earn three college credits from SUNY Cobleskill through our College in the High School program. It was great for students to visit the campus and see firsthand where those college credits can take them.
Thank you, SUNY Cobleskill, for having us yesterday!

BRAVE Youth Leadership: Superheroes in Action!
Today marked Week 2 of the BRAVE Youth Leadership System through Sweethearts and Heroes with Josiah McKeon – and our 9th and 10th grade student leaders took on an important topic: bullying.
A total of 16 students are being trained by Jo to help build connections and strengthen our school community by working with 2nd grade students throughout the next several weeks.
During today's training, our student leaders rehearsed bullying skits before heading to Ms. Hardler's and Ms. Doing's 2nd grade classrooms to share what they had learned.
The 2nd graders got in on the action, too! After talking with their high school friends about their favorite superheroes and the superpowers they wished they had, they suited up in capes and joined the skits.
With their new "superpowers," our 2nd graders took turns stepping into the action to stop the bullies – all while learning important lessons about kindness, courage, standing up for others and looking out for their classmates.
And, of course, everyone got a turn to wear the cape!
These are the kinds of connections that help make a school community stronger. By bringing students together across grade levels, we're building relationships, developing student leaders and working toward our vision of a pre-K through 12th grade community of collaboration for students and staff.
Every Student Known...Every Future Grown.

Mrs. Kehoe's 6th grade students just finished a study of the phases of the Moon!
This learning enhanced students' understanding of the relationship between the Earth, Moon and Sun, as well as how the Moon affects the tides and ecosystems. Historically, in some cultures, people also recognized the Moon's importance in the creation of calendars and rituals.
The study was finalized by recreating the phases of the Moon with Oreo cookies!

🏈 BGAH Bears Senior Night
Friday night was Senior Night for the BGAH Bears varsity football team at Bainbridge-Guilford, as the Bears celebrated their seniors before taking on Deposit-Hancock.
BGAH battled throughout the night, taking a 6-0 lead into halftime after Davis Barnard scored on a 3-yard touchdown run. Deposit-Hancock answered with two third-quarter touchdowns to take a 14-6 lead, and the Bears kept fighting into the fourth quarter but couldn't quite complete the comeback.
