The BGAH Cross Country team ran in the MAC League Championships on Wednesday at General Clinton Park. The varsity boys team took 2nd as a team, led by Owen Degan in 2nd place with a program record of 16:42 time. The varsity girls team took 2nd overall, lead by Maddie Ingham and Maddy Faberman in 4th and 5th. The varsity teams have their next race at Chenango Valley State Park on Thursday for sectionals on November 6th. The girls race at 11:30 and the Boys at 12:30. The modified program wrapped up their season with great results. The modified boys took 2nd as a program, with Brennan Andres in 7th and Dawson Mayo in 9th. The modified girls were led by great individual efforts from Elzie John in 4th and Myahlee Palmer in 6th.






The Class of 2031 is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner at VFW-187 on Main Street in Afton! Whole orders are $12, and half orders are $6. Raffle Baskets are also available! We hope to see you there!

Guilford/Afton/Harpursville defeats 9-Dryden (4-3) in the opening round of the Section IV Class-B Boys Soccer Tournament at Bainbridge-Guilford. Ben Porter fires in 3 goals to lead the charge. Aidan Haynes chips in 1 goal and 1 assist. Harpo Hardt hands out 1 assist.
Their next game is Friday October 24th at Chenango Forks at 7:00 p.m.
