Friday: 7:00 p.m. - Girls vs Unadilla Valley (JVs at 5:30)
Theme: Christmas. Spectators wear Christmas attire!
Our Student Showcase concert is scheduled for Wednesday, December 17th at 7:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!

Afton Central School District is pleased to announce Ms. Kim Johnson, our school psychologist, was graded tenure at last night's Board of Education meeting! We are so thankful for her incredible service for our students!

The Class of 2029 is hosting a free movie night on December 22nd from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. featuring Elf! We hope to see you there!

We are so thankful for our outstanding students, staff, and community partners who helped with the Penguin Patch! This was a great opportunity for middle/high school students to collaborate with elementary students in preparing for the holiday festivities! Students had a fantastic time together!




Come cheer on our girls' basketball teams as they take on Sidney tonight! The JV game begins at 5:30 and varsity will follow at 7:15! The team is asking for spectators to wear RED to support!

The team kicked off their season with tournaments in Newark Valley on Friday and Horseheads on Saturday. On Friday, the HBGACV squad finished 3rd in team points. Aubrey showed great promise and determination throughout the day.
At Saturday’s tournament in Horseheads, she wrestled her way to a 4th place finish, highlighting her talent and potential! Way to go, Aubrey!





Friday night the team traveled to SUNY Cortland for the It’s About Time meet against 11 other Section III and IV teams. This meet was used as a JV type competition for our new athletes and those that may not get to attend other competitions with the limited entries, we have for Indoor Track meets traditionally. Results highlights below:

On Sunday, the team traveled to Ithaca College for their Ithaca College Bomber High School Invite. 25 teams overall competed, including some of the largest programs in the state – Guilderland, Corning, Ballston Spa, Columbia, Mohanasen amongst others. If you don’t know, these schools are all over 1000 students on their enrollment. The Boys team placed 5th overall and 1st in Small Schools. Girls placed 16th, 6th in Small Schools. Overall a great start to our Indoor Season. Our next meet is this Saturday at SUNY Cortland.
