Bowling Update:
Girls won 3-1. Gracie Bomboy led the girls with a game high of 161.
Boys lost 4-0. Aiden Smith led the boys with a score of 190.

The JV girls tipped off their season on Wednesday with a 50-32 loss to Unatego.
Despite the loss, there were a lot of positives to take and build on for the rest of the season. The girls play again on Friday at Franklin at 5:30pm.

Community swim is cancelled for tonight.


Our Living Environment biology students came up with their own hypotheses about factors that will affect the germination of cilantro seeds. We’ll see what happens in a couple of weeks.




The boys JV and varsity basketball teams are away at Hancock tonight at 5:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. respectively.

Afton JV boys basketball lost 48-26 to Bainbridge-Guilford. Levi Russell led the team with 8 points.
Afton varsity boys lost 52-38. Ryan Wright had 13 points, Equan Patterson added 12.

The boys JV and varsity basketball teams are away at Hancock tonight at 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. respectively.

Tonight, the girls modified, and JV basketball teams are home against Oxford at 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. respectively.
The boys modified basketball team is away at Oxford at 4:30 p.m.
The boys JV and varsity basketball teams are away at Bainbridge Guilford at 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. respectively.

Tonight, the boys varsity Basketball team scrimmaging at Schenevus at 5:00 p.m.
It is a closed scrimmage and will not be open to spectators.

Happy Thanksgiving, Afton Community!


High school students had an opportunity to visit Ithaca College for a Health Sciences Career Fair!
Students learned about athletic training, emergency services, human services, entry level health care positions, and various pathways to careers in the health care industry.
Students also got to administer first aid using virtual reality and even try suturing a wound on a chicken tender!
