Attention winter sports parents/guardians:
Indoor Track, Wrestling, Bowling and Basketball for JV and Varsity teams will begin Monday, November 14, 2022. All players must have an up to date physical and required paperwork to begin practice.
There will be a shuttle provided by Harpursville that will pick up in Afton, travel to Harpursville and then to Bainbridge for modified volleyball, bowling, wrestling and indoor track practices. Basketball practices will be held in Afton. There will be a shuttle provided by Afton back after all of the off-site practices. (practices end at 5:00 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.) E.T.A. 5:30-5:45.
Opening Week practice schedule. Coaches will be giving athletes the following weeks schedule at the end of the week.
Basketball practice times for Monday 11/14, Tuesday 11/15 and Friday 11/17. JV girls 2:30-4:30. JV & Varsity boys 4:30-6:30. Wednesday 11/16 and Thursday 11/17 JV and varsity boys 2:30-4:30 and JV girls 4:30-6:30.
Bowling practice will be Monday 11/14, Tuesday 11/15, and Wednesday 11/16 3:15-5:00 (5:15).
Indoor Track and wrestling will be from 3:15-5:00 (5:15) Monday through Friday.
Volleyball girls play Deposit-Hancock tonight at 4:30 p.m.
The modified boys basketball team plays Hancock tonight at 4:30 p.m.

We got confirmation that Harpursville will provide our beginning shuttle starting Monday 11/14. We will provide the end of day shuttle back.
The shuttle will pick up in Afton, go to Harpursville(volleyball), go to the bowling alley, BG elementary school (wrestling) and then high school (track).

Afton students at the Lackawanna Coal Mine in Scranton, PA! Students had a great time learning about the coal industry! Our students learned that children as young as five had to work in the mines! We are so fortunate to have this piece of local history to learn about.

Boys Varsity and JV basketball open gym will take place on Thursday the 10th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Saturday the 12th from 10:00 p.m. - 12:00 p.m.
JV Girls Basketball will be having an open gym 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday the 9th.
The middle school students just had their annual spelling bee competition!
