JV Girls Team traveled to Sidney Tuesday night and lost 60 to 17. Kate Baciuska led the team with 6 points and Misty Bushaw scored 4. On Monday the JV Girls played home vs Unatego and lost 58 to 22. Team travels to OV this Friday for their next game.

Yesterday, many Afton students and staff wore Bills gear in support of @BuffaloBills Safety Damar Hamlin who collapsed on the field during Monday night's game.

“This morning’s Bright Knight Ceremony was originally going to be live streamed. Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties we were unable to do so. Here are some pictures from our ceremony.”

Varsity boys basketball lost 61-32 to Unatego. Equan Patterson scored 10 points with Ryan Wright adding 8. JV boys basketball lost 38-26 to Unatego. Aidan Rogers led the way with 8 points. Several players contributed with multiple baskets and solid defense.

The girls game for tonight is cancelled.

The JV Girls basketball team traveled to GMU last night. The game was a defensive battle with many Afton players recording steals and rebounds. The team scored half of their points in the 4th quarter but came up short in the last few seconds. GMU won 25 to 20. Anna Cable led the team with many steals and 11 points. Kate Baciuska came off the bench to also record many steals and finished with 4 points. The team plays next on this Friday at home vs Deposit/Hancock 1/6/23.
