⚽️ Senior Night for Boys Varsity Soccer!


Wednesday was Senior Night for the BGAH Bears boys varsity soccer team as they faced the Sidney Sabers on the turf at Bainbridge-Guilford.

The Bears battled hard but fell to the Sabers, 3-1. John Win scored the lone goal for the Bears. Their next game is Friday at Unatego.

We’re five days into the new school year, and our students are already getting back into the swing of things!

Today’s lunch featured an ultimate chicken bowl, popcorn chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and a dinner roll. More importantly, the cafeteria was filled with students catching up with friends, enjoying their meals and making the most of their lunch break. 😊

Upcoming Informational Presentation: Protecting Our Youth in the Digital Age

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ BGAH Cross Country Competes at Dave 'Flash' Forbes Invitational!


The BGAH Cross Country teams competed Saturday at the Dave “Flash” Forbes Invitational at Fortin Park in Oneonta, with strong performances across both the varsity and modified races.

🏅 Varsity Boys
The varsity boys finished 6th overall and 3rd among small schools, led by Owen Degan, who placed 3rd overall with a time of 16:30. Rounding out the top five were Ethan Beardslee, Sean Fowler, Rowan Beasinger and Jackari Garipoli.

🏅 Varsity Girls
The varsity girls finished 10th overall and 4th among small schools, led by Jalyn Winans, who placed 42nd overall in 24:15. She was followed by Macey LaFever, Ruth Wilson, Elzie John and Myahlee Palmer.

🏃 Modified
The modified teams competed in the meet’s 1.4-mile open scrimmage race.

The modified boys were led by Dawson Mayo, who finished in the top 40, followed by Zack Ives, Charles Knapp, Roman Lucchese and Ivan Lans.

The modified girls also turned in a strong performance, finishing among the top five teams overall. Carly LaVergne led the way with an impressive 4th-place overall finish in her first-ever cross-country race!

👏 Congratulations to all of our BGAH runners! Many athletes turned in outstanding performances in their first races, including several newcomers to the sport. The program is off to a strong start as the teams look to compete for Sectional championships on both the boys’ and girls’ sides this season.

The players of the game were Ben Porter, who had four goals and one assist. The other goal was scored by John Winn, who also had an assist. Nolan Foster had an assist as well.
