Congratulations to our varsity girls field Hockey team who won another victory (5-0) against Newark Valley! Miranda Schultz scored three goals, Carly Bagg scored one goal, Makenna Schultz scored one goal, and Abbey Paoletti, Vanessa Card and Adriana Hartman, each earned one assist. Emilie Hopkins had one save on the night.
Afton/Harpursville football lost to Bainbridge/Guilford (28-42).
The varsity boys' soccer team lost to Unadilla Valley/G-MU (1-3).

We are thrilled to announce that Afton Central School District earned the NYSPHSAA School of Distinction Scholar Athlete Award for the 2024-25 school year!
Less than 10% of all New York State high schools received this award for the 2024-2025 school year.
To be recognized as a School of Distinction, a school must have 100% of all its varsity teams earn the Scholar-Athlete Team Award during their respective sports season.
A Scholar-Athlete Team Award is earned when at least 75% of a team earns a 90% GPA.
