Afton/Harpursville Field Hockey defeated Spencer-Van Etten/Candor (4-2) for a Section IV non-division win. Abbey Paoletti scored two goals. Adriana Hartman and Miranda Schultz each scored one goal. Makenna Schultz handed out three assists and Vanessa Card contributed 1 assist. Great job, Team!

Three Afton players were named to the all-tournament team at the Oxford’s Annual Girls’ Soccer Tournament! Congratulations to Jenna Wilson, Kathleen Charette, and Appalonia Bushaw.

Additionally, several members of the Afton/Harpursville Varsity Girls’ Soccer Team volunteered their time to referee for AYSO’s home soccer tournament. Afton CSD would like to thank Misty Bushaw, Alyssa Spathelf, Aisley Ruff, Ariana Florance, Kathleen Charette, and Appalonia Bushaw for their willingness to participate. Thank you, Team, for being positive role models to Afton’s youth, and for your support of the Afton soccer community!

BGAH Cross Country competed in the Dave Forbes Invitational in Oneonta this past Saturday. The girls varsity team led to a 10th place team result. Maddie Ingham (BG) finished 10th, followed by Laeni Baldwin in 28th and Jalyn Winans in 33rd out of 153 runners. The modified girls took 3rd overall in team scoring, led by Madison Faberman’s 3rd place finish, followed by Myahlee Palmer (13th) and Elzie John (14th) in a field of 62 runners. The varsity boys were led by Owen Degan’s 11th place finish, followed by Sean Fowler (39th) in a race of 128 competitors. The boys team placed 7th out of 14 teams. Modified Boys were led by Brennan Andres’ 19th place result and took 9th as a team. BGAH Cross Country's next competition will be Saturday at the Pre-States Meet in Queensbury.

Nolan Foster scores 2 goals for B-G/A/H. Ben Porter adds 1 goal and 1 assist. Harpo Hardt contributes 1 goal and 1 assist. John Winn chips in 1 goal.

Congratulations to our Afton-Harpursville-Bainbridge Field Hockey team who earned another big win (12-1) against Tioga!

AHB had 19 shots and 12 corners. Tioga had one shot and one corner. Several members of our team scored goals! Makenna Schultz - 3 goals 3-assists, Vanessa Card - 2 goals 1 assist, Abbey Paoletti - 1 goal 2 assists, Carly Bagg - 1 goal 1 assist, Emilie Hopkins - 1 goal 1 assist, Miranda Schultz - 1 goal, Adriana Hartman - 1 goal, Lainey Steinbrecher - 1 goal, Jessalyn Powell - 1 goal, Gracie Bagg - 2 assists. For Tioga, Kaylene Sindori scored 1 goal. Their keeper, Vangie Decker had seven saves. AHB's record is now (3-1); Tioga (0-2).
