The Afton/Harpursville boys soccer team defeated

Guilford/Afton/Harpursville defeats 9-Dryden (4-3) in the opening round of the Section IV Class-B Boys Soccer Tournament at Bainbridge-Guilford. Ben Porter fires in 3 goals to lead the charge. Aidan Haynes chips in 1 goal and 1 assist. Harpo Hardt hands out 1 assist.

Their next game is Friday October 24th at Chenango Forks at 7:00 p.m.

AH girls modified soccer evened their record to 4-4 on the season with a solid 2-1 victory over Unatego. The defense was once again outstanding! Seventh-grader Kasey Congdon earned the player of the match award and the yellow hard hat for her outstanding work on offense. Khloe Wayman played goalie for the first time and held Unatego to zero goals in the second half. Great job, Team!

Congratulations to our varsity girls field Hockey team who won another victory (5-0) against Newark Valley! Miranda Schultz scored three goals, Carly Bagg scored one goal, Makenna Schultz scored one goal, and Abbey Paoletti, Vanessa Card and Adriana Hartman, each earned one assist. Emilie Hopkins had one save on the night.

Afton/Harpursville football lost to Bainbridge/Guilford (28-42).

The varsity boys' soccer team lost to Unadilla Valley/G-MU (1-3).
