Hello, Afton Community! Fall sports practices begin on August 18th! The practice times are listed below: Varsity Cheerleading- 8:00 to 10:00 am, @ Harpursville, meet at the elementary. No practice on the 19th Varsity Field Hockey- Practice Times: 8:30 am-11:30 am @ Afton Varsity Football- 4-7 pm Monday – Friday, 9am -12 pm Saturday @ Harpursville Varsity Girls Soccer- 8:00-10:30 am @ Afton JV Boys Soccer- 8-10 am, Monday-Friday until school starts @ Afton Varsity Volleyball- 8-10am @ Harpursville JV Volleyball- 8-10am @ Harpursville Varsity Cross Country - General Clinton Park in Bainbridge, 5:30 to 7:30pm until school begins. All Modified sports begin on 8/25. Modified FH- Held @ Harpursville, 3-5 pm. Modified Football- Modified begins August 25th and will practice M-F 3:30-5 and Saturdays 8-10 for the whole season unless a game is scheduled for that day. @ Harpursville Modified Soccer – TBD Modified Cross Country will follow the Varsity schedule. Volleyball tryouts begin on Monday, August 18th at 8-11 a.m. Practices are in the Harpursville gym through the triple doors (sports entrance). Their practices on schedule galaxy for August.

Hello Afton Crimson Knight Community! BGAH Cross Country sign-ups are open all summer. Cross Country is open to all boys and girls going into 7th grade or higher next academic year. We have Modified, JV, and Varsity programs for boys and girls. Pictured is the team flyer. Simply scan the QR code with your smartphone camera and you can join us this coming fall season! The team uses the Remind App to communicate efficiently between parents, athletes, and coaches across our 3 combined schools. Simply download the free app, make your account if you do not have one, then select ‘Join Class’. Our team class code is bgahxc. All team info for our summer practices, cross country camp, and in-season communication will be done through this app, so be sure to sign-up so you don’t miss out.

If there are any specific items your class might need, or if you have personal preferences, we ask that guardians provide these items. Ag Day was successfully held at Keith Clark Park in Sidney, NY, presented by the Cullman Center. Afton FFA played an active role by setting up a table that featured a photo booth, engaging games, and exciting prizes which promoted agricultural awareness. Sidney and Delaware Academy FFA also attended which enhanced the community spirit and fostered connections among local agricultural organizations. Ag Day was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the importance of agriculture. Thank you to all members who contributed their time and effort to make Ag Day a success!
