The next FFA Food Pantry is scheduled on Monday, November 24th, 2025, from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. We are so thankful to our incredible students, staff, and community partners for their services and contributions to our FFA food pantry. The FFA team is always looking for volunteers. If you would like to volunteer to help, please contact the FFA advisor, Ms. Reeder.

Afton CSD Staff had a fantastic chili cookoff. Congratulations to Mr. Dan Sager for earning the highly esteemed Chili Cookoff Championship. Congratulations Mr. Brandon McNaught for earning second place and Ms. Kim Knapp-Moravcik for earning third place in our highly competitive chili contest.

The Varsity Boys team of Owen Degan, Ethan Beardslee, Sean Fowler, Rowan Beasinger, Jackari Garipoli, Aiden Quick, My'Kel George, Mason Lans and Connor Rowe placed 2nd overall, led by Owen Degan's 3rd place finish, which qualifies him for States this coming Saturday in Queensbury.
The Varsity Girls team of Maddie Ingham, Madison Farberman, Lelaenia Baldwin, Jalyn Winans, Macey LaFever, Gabby Gross, Marissa Mayo and Issy Suda took 2nd overall, led by Maddie Ingham's 4th placed followed by Maddy Farberman's 5th place. Both girls also qualified for States as well.
